My report shows different numbers than my installer. Why?
This is expected. Installers use their specific equipment pricing and may include different assumptions. Our report uses independent NREL data and industry averages. Use our numbers as a baseline to evaluate installer proposals.
The NREL API returned an error / shows 'regional estimate'. What happened?
The NREL PVWatts API occasionally experiences downtime or high demand. When this happens, we fall back to regional averages and clearly label the estimate. Results are still highly accurate.
Can I use your report for my loan application?
Our reports are designed for informational purposes. While many lenders accept third-party solar analysis, we recommend consulting your lender about their specific documentation requirements.
